As a neurologist who sees patients with dementia I order tests, answer questions, and do what I can for treatment.   But for patients and their caregivers the specter of dementia is so much more than that.  Reading through these wonderful words by Julie Green shows me that the dementia journey is a nuanced path through not only pains and difficulties, but also profound meaning and wonder.
